John Burke: Director

John Burke is the founder of the Irish FreeFrom Food Awards. He has been a judge at the FreeFrom Food Awards UK since 2010. He is passionate about the FreeFrom industry, having been diagnosed Coeliac in 1973.

With years of business experience, John’s goal is to see the continuing growth of the Irish FreeFrom landscape and hopes the awards will encourage and recognise ongoing innovation and development.

Having been coeliac most of his life, John has witnessed huge changes to the market, from the quality to quantity of products now available.

John is very proud to see the awards go from strength to strength and appreciates the ongoing support of the industry and our judges.

Emma Clarke Conway: Awards Coordinator

As a lifelong coeliac, Emma brings a wealth of experience to her involvement as Awards Coordinator of the FreeFrom Food Awards Ireland, having previously worked in the Coeliac Society of Ireland for over 11 years.

Emma established her own freelance business in 2015, Express PR, to provide PR and Marketing services to small businesses, working with FFFA Ireland since the beginning.

Emma is also Communications & Development Officer for the charity, Polio Survivors Ireland, highlighting issues faced by people who had polio as babies or young children.
