FREEFROM FOOD AWARDS ireland

The FreeFrom Food Awards Ireland is thrilled to be heading into the tenth year of the Awards process taking place in Ireland, being the only industry specific judging programme for #FreeFrom in Ireland. We will soon have details of this year’s dates for Entry, Judging and the all important awards ceremony, to take place over a period from June to November 2025.

The FreeFrom Food Awards Ireland was founded by coeliac entrepreneur John Burke in 2015. The team includes fellow coeliac, Emma Clarke Conway, diabetic Ashley Neville and the awards are co-presented by journalist and coach, Maria McHale, also a coeliac. 

The judging panels are made up of coeliacs, diabetics, people with wheat, gluten or dairy intolerance, vegans, vegetarians and individuals with various allergies. They also include journalists, dietitians, chefs, bakers, nutritionists and parents of children of family members of those who must adhere to FreeFrom diets.
